Ernie Tonorezos has a track record of success in defending negligence-based claims, with particular experience in lawyers’ liability and aviation litigation matters. His time practicing at Wilson Elser includes two years working in both the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore offices.

Ernie handles all aspects of litigation, from inception through resolution, including substantial trial experience. He has obtained dismissal of dozens of legal malpractice lawsuits on behalf of both individual attorneys and multinational law firms. In the aviation area, Ernie has handled litigation related to multiple mid-air collisions and other highly publicized aviation incidents during the last several years. Many of his aviation cases have addressed aircraft performance, maintenance procedures, and manufacturing and design defects. Ernie has represented a diverse mix of other clients in specialty professional liability and tort litigation, including accountant, broker-dealer and medical malpractice defense; aviation errors and omissions claims and contract disputes; construction, product and general liability lawsuits; and insurance coverage matters.
