Aaron Riensche is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, where his practice emphasizes general litigation, including personal injury, products liability, and insurance defense. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Federal District Court for the Western District of Washington, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Tulalip Tribal Court.

Mr. Riensche received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law, where he was a lead article editor of the law review. During law school, he received the Cheney Legal Writing Scholarship and the Access to Justice Institute Award of Distinction for Leadership & Dedication Towards Public Service. He also interned at the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project and the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Before joining Ogden Murphy Wallace, he served as judicial clerk to Judge David H. Armstrong and Judge Marywave Van Deren at Division Two of the Washington Court of Appeals.

After studying Spanish translation at the University of Granada in Spain, Mr. Riensche received his B.A. from the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. Following his undergraduate years, he taught English as a Second Language at various educational institutions in Manta, Ecuador. Later, as a program manager for a Seattle-based tour operator, he was responsible for coordinating the operational logistics of private jet expeditions throughout the world.
