He is licensed to practice in the states of New York and California and he has extensive experience litigating consumer individual and class actions around the country on behalf of financial services companies. The issues litigated typically involve alleged violations of unfair competition laws, the FCRA, FDCPA, ECOA, California Business & Professions code section 17200, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act and common law claims such as negligence, defamation and breach of contract.

Abe's practice has him actively litigating at any given time in over 20 states around the Country. He has put together a team who work with him closely on these matters. The key to their success has been their approach: after a thorough analysis of the issues presented, a very focused, aggressive and practical approach is taken on each matter. This has enabled them to obtain extremely favorable settlements on class wide basis on numerous occasions (or alternatively, a dismissal of class claims and a settlement with the individual class representative only). In the instances where that could not be accomplished, Abe and his team have successfully defeated class certification motions. The same approach is taken on individual consumer cases. Where a reasonable settlement can not be reached, cases are resolved via motion practice and if need be, are taken to trial.
