Adam Detsky has handled numerous civil cases in New York state and federal courts from time of occurrence through trial. His litigation experience includes product liability, construction accident claims, premises liability, security guard claims and navigation law. Adam has also argued before New York’s First, Second and Fourth Appellate Departments as both appellant and respondent.

In addition to the practice of law, Adam teaches trial advocacy at to undergraduate college students. He has been an adjunct professor at Iona College since 2003, where he serves as educator and coach of the school's intercollegiate mock trial team, which is ranked among the top 15 percent of the approximately 650 teams in the country and one of the top-ranked teams in New York. At Iona, Adam teaches advanced application of the Federal Rules of Evidence, Rules of Civil Procedure and general advocacy skills such as writing opening statements and closing arguments, performing direct and cross examinations of witnesses, and public speaking skills. Adam previously coached a trial advocacy team at Pace Law School.
