Adrienne Ferraro Mueller

From aggressively defending companies and their officers and directors in securities and corporate governance-related litigation to brokering agreements to resolve claims threatening major transactions, Adrienne Ferraro Mueller is a complete litigator. Adrienne has experience in a wide range of complex litigation, with a focus on securities, derivative, and shareholder actions. She also has experience defending clients in litigation brought on behalf of employee benefits plans, including deferred compensation plans, 401(k) plans, ESOPs, and incentive plans. Adrienne regularly conducts internal client investigations and represents clients in government investigations involving the SEC, the DOJ, and the Secretary of Labor.

In 2007, she was part of a trial team that successfully represented the existing board and management of a company in the Delaware Court of Chancery in litigation arising out of a hard-fought contest for corporate control. More recently, she was a key member of the Jones Day trial team that secured a directed verdict at the close of plaintiffs’ case on behalf of American Kidney Stone Management, Ltd., a physician-owned limited liability company, and current and former members of its board of managers in Ahmed v. Wise, et al., No. 09CVH-06-8337 (Franklin Cty. Ohio).

Adrienne is a member of the Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. She previously served as a member of the board of directors and chair of the governance committee of Blessing House, a children's crisis care center.
