Ajay Mago

Mr. Mago joined Culhane Meadows direct from Duane Morris LLP. He has represented companies of all sizes, including startups and venture-backed companies, privately held family businesses and both large and small public companies in all aspects of their business affairs, as well as providing services to angel investors, venture capitalist private equity funds and other institutional investors. Mr. Mago advises international clients on matters involving a wide range of jurisdictions, including India, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Turkey, Russia, Brazil, Peru, the Netherlands, Mexico, Bangladesh, Japan, Germany, Kazakhstan, Southern Sudan and Uganda.

In addition to providing general corporate counseling to a diverse number of clients, Mr. Mago has worked on a wide variety of transactions, including public offerings, private placements, mergers, acquisitions, fund formations, strategic alliances, joint ventures and licensing arrangements, acquisition financings, capital raises, syndicated secured loan transactions, structuring and organizing start-up companies and equity investments involving a number of industries such as biotechnology, e-commerce, entertainment, manufacturing, real estate, franchising, software, consumer products, retail, healthcare and telecommunications.

Mr. Mago has extensive experience representing foreign and domestic technology companies in the legal and business issues related to the development and deployment of technology businesses and services for Fortune 500 and other companies.

Mr. Mago regularly serves as outside counsel to emerging growth companies and works proactively and collaboratively with clients’ managements and boards of directors to coordinate and oversee clients’ legal needs and their integration with operations and business initiatives.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Mago served as law clerk to the Hon. Sam A. Lindsay of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
