Alan Singer concentrates his practice in all areas of trust and estate planning and wealth preservation. Mr. Singer advises individual clients with sophisticated pre-death wealth preservation and asset protection techniques, including structuring personal estate and business succession plans, drafting wills, revocable trusts and all types of irrevocable trusts, including insurance, residence and charitable trusts. He is a certified public accountant and has several years of prior public accounting experience, including individual and business income tax planning, tax return preparation and personal financial planning.
Mr. Singer also represents business clients with respect to their general business and tax planning, including formation and succession planning. He has experience in organizational, tax and succession planning for privately held businesses and insurance financing. Mr. Singer’s transactional tax planning includes structuring partnerships and limited liability companies, reorganizations, restructuring transactions, use of split-dollar and premium finance arrangements, and shareholder buy-sell agreements.
