Albert A. Pisa

Al Pisa is a partner in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and Practice Group Leader of the firm’s Alternative Investments Practice.

Mr. Pisa advises clients on a range of lending and other finance transactions, including leveraged lending as well as workouts and debt restructurings, both in and out of bankruptcy. His clients include corporations, investment banks, financial institutions and private investment funds. Mr. Pisa has extensive experience with first and second lien financings, DIPs, exit facilities and financings secured by non-traditional collateral, including intellectual property rights, commodities and contractual rights.

Mr. Pisa also has particular expertise in structured financings of esoteric and “off-the-run” assets, including in the energy and transportation markets.

Mr. Pisa has been consistently ranked over the years in leading legal directories including most recently, he was recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers Global in the ‘USA, Capital Markets: Securitisation’ category noting that, “Albert Pisa is well regarded for his expertise on esoteric securitisation transactions.
