Albert P. Silva is a partner and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He focuses on corporate and partnership taxation; tax, valuation and fiduciary litigation; estate planning; and general corporate transactions involving formations, mergers, acquisitions and sales of profit and non-profit corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. He is a member of the Taxation Practice and the Technology Industry Team.
Mr. Silva is also a member of the firm’s Hospitality, Resort & Golf Industry Team, representing clients in connection with the formation and structure of equity and non-equity clubs, including resort, golf, tennis, marina, and vacation clubs.
Mr. Silva’s experience in the areas of taxation and corporate securities includes advising clients with respect to tax and securities aspects of real estate transactions, including equity and non-equity clubs, condo hotels and rental programs, conservation easements and like-kind exchanges of various properties, including tenants-in-common interests.
