Alex Brown is an associate in the firm's Litigation & Trial Practice group whose practice is focused in complex commercial litigation. He is a member of the group's Technology and Privacy team, where he works on international intellectual property disputes over wireless technologies and privacy related matters including class actions and government investigations. Alex has represented clients in state courts, federal courts and the International Trade Commission.

Prior to joining Alston & Bird, Alex completed a fellowship with the Office of the Georgia Capital Defender, where he represented clients at trial and on appeal. Alex received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served on The University of Texas School of Law Texas Environmental Law Journal. He earned his B.S. in political science, magna cum laude, from Bradley University, where he was the president and a three-time national finalist for Bradley's National Champion Speech Team.
