Alexandra Eve Steinberg Laks is an associate in the Litigation Department in Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office.
Ms. Laks received her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where she served as discourse editor and a diversity committee member for the UCLA Law Review, as well as co-founder and co-chair of the Education Law Society and co-founder of the UCLA Education Rights Clinic. During law school, Ms. Laks served as an intern for the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, a legal extern for the ACLU of Southern California and a judicial extern to the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She was a summer associate at Morrison & Foerster. Ms. Laks received her B.A. in Government from Cornell University.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Laks worked as a teacher through Teach for America and helped found ACE Charter School. She speaks Spanish.
