Prior to joining the firm, he advised Mexican state-owned enterprises, specifically within the framework of bidding processes, including the negotiation and drafting of the first set of 10 Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects in Mexico. Mr. Padrés has also been involved in intellectual property matters governed by US and Mexican law and corporate governance and environmental issues governed by Mexican law.
