Alicia Grahn Jones

Alicia Grahn Jones concentrates her practice in the areas of trademark clearance, prosecution, and litigation. Ms. Jones has substantial experience representing clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in opposition and cancellation proceedings and in federal district courts in trademark infringement matters. Ms. Jones also helps clients determine the availability of trademarks, develop and implement appropriate trademark registration programs, monitor and enforce trademark rights, and manage trademark disputes throughout the world.

Ms. Jones currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and the Board of Directors of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. She is a member of the Intellectual Property Section of the Georgia Bar Association and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. Ms. Jones has been recognized as a Georgia "Rising Star" in the area of Intellectual Property in 2012, 2013 and 2014 by Super Lawyers magazine. Ms. Jones was recognized in the area of Sports Law in the 2012 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and she was ranked nationally in its 2013 edition. She was also recognized in the 2012 edition of GeorgiaTrend’s Legal Elite.

Ms. Jones is a recipient of the 2013 Volunteer of the Year Award from Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN). She was presented with the Visionary Award in 2014 by the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL). Ms. Jones was the Chair of the firm's Associate Communications Committee from 2008-2012 and a member of the firm's Diversity Committee from 2010-2012. She was a recipient of the 2004 Georgia Association of Women Lawyers Scholarship. Ms. Jones earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law and received her Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University, where she graduated cum laude in Political Science.
