Alison K. Brown practices in Holland & Knight's South Florida Litigation Group, with an emphasis in commercial litigation. Ms. Brown has litigated on behalf of clients in the areas of real estate, contracts, business torts, securities and shareholder rights.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Brown worked as an assistant attorney general in the Criminal Appeals Division, where she argued cases before the Missouri Courts of Appeals, including the Missouri Supreme Court. She also served as a career law clerk to United States District Judge Kenneth L. Ryskamp in the Southern District of Florida.

In the community, Ms. Brown serves on the Steering Committee of NEXT, an organization designed to raise awareness of legal aid in the business and legal communities. She also took a one year sabbatical to volunteer with Legal Services of Eastern Missouri to represent victims of domestic violence in the organization's family law section.
