On behalf of restaurants, bars, hotels, caterers, cruise lines, liquor stores, wholesalers and other businesses, Alissa assists clients in efficiently navigating the complex liquor licensing process. Her experience in this area encompasses a broad array of issues, including new liquor licenses, renewals, corporate changes, approvals for establishment alterations, 500-foot hearings and community board meetings, permits for offsite special events, and disciplinary matters.

The corporate component of Alissa’s practice involves the formation of corporate entities, preparation of corporate organizational documents including bylaws, shareholder, operating, partnership and joint venture agreements. In addition, she prepares employment and consulting contracts, and general commercial contracts. Alissa also assists with the formation of not-for-profits and obtaining state and federal tax-exempt status for such entities.
