Allison E. Haedt

Allison Haedt's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. She has experience with consumer fraud class actions, energy litigation, contract disputes, franchising issues, and matters brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. She has been involved in all stages of litigation including managing e-discovery, taking depositions, briefing dispositive motions and appeals, selecting and preparing expert witnesses, conducting settlement conferences, and preparing witnesses to testify. Allison also has successfully presented oral argument before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Ohio Supreme Court. See Perkins v. McQuiggin, 670 F.3d 665 (6th Cir. 2012); Smith v. Ohio Edison Company, 137 Ohio St. 3d 7, 2013-Ohio-4070, 996 N.E.2d 927 (2013).

Allison has represented clients such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Bass Pro Shops, Cardinal Health, Dell, Diebold, Experian Information Solutions, FirstEnergy Solutions, General Motors, and The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company.

Allison is also committed to pro bono work. She was part of a team that secured a favorable Supreme Court ruling for a federal habeas corpus petitioner. See McQuiggin v. Perkins, 133 S. Ct. 1924 (2013). She also assisted with a trial that resulted in a $10.9 million jury verdict for an African-American neighborhood that had been denied access to public water. Kennedy v. City of Zanesville, Case No. 2:03-cv-1047 (S.D. Ohio 2008).

Allison is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. She serves on the board of trustees for the Women Lawyers of Franklin County.
