Amanda Roma Richey

Amanda Richey is an associate practicing in Ropes & Gray’s corporate department. She advises a wide range of companies, including major life sciences, technology, and branded product and retail companies in transactions involving corporate, intellectual property, and privacy matters. She also regularly counsels private equity clients on corporate and intellectual property issues present in portfolio company investments and acquisitions.

A certified privacy professional, CIPP/US, Amanda’s practice includes advising clients on the collection, handling and protection of data by their organizations, evaluating data policies and practices, and responding to data security breaches and incidents.

Throughout law school, Amanda worked in Cisco Systems’ legal department, working in trademark, copyright, and privacy law.
