Amit Parekh’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, business and transactional counseling and strategic partnerships and alliances. Mr. Parekh has significant experience representing public and private corporations, private equity funds and venture capital groups. Mr. Parekh regularly represents a Fortune 100 company headquartered in Orange County with M&A transactions, a large private equity fund based in New York, an industry-leading venture capital group located in Orange County and a family fund focused on domestic and international industry-specific investments.

Mr. Parekh has worked in-house at the corporate headquarters of two then-Fortune 1000 companies. His first secondment was at Collective Brands, Inc., the then-parent company of Payless ShoeSource, Stride Rite and several other shoe brands, where he assisted the general counsel and senior transactions counsel with numerous cross-border transactions. His following secondment was at CoreLogic, Inc., where he worked with the assistant general counsel on both transactional and securities matters.

Mr. Parekh’s experience also encompasses serving as “outside general counsel” to several companies, including charity:water, a nonprofit organization based in New York devoted to bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.
