Amy Lauren is Counsel in Kaye Scholer’s Corporate Department in New York. She advises clients on a variety of corporate issues, with a focus on high-profile, commercial technology transactions.

Amy’s experience includes advising on the development of technology-driven products and services and a broad range of technology transactions, including: mergers and acquisitions, technology investments, strategic partnerships, digital FinTech products, e-commerce websites, rewards programs, digital marketing and advertising services, vendor relationships and software licensing.

In connection with this work, she has advised on a variety of client-driven issues, including those related to intellectual property, data security, privacy, consumer banking regulation and advertising law.

Prior to joining Kaye Scholer, Amy served as Vice President & Senior Counsel of Digital Partnerships & Development at American Express, where she worked closely with C-Suite executives and directly supervised attorneys on FinTech projects for American Express’ digital products. She has also worked with other major players in the technology space, including Airbnb, Amazon, Apple, Samsung and multiple other consumer-facing and B2B companies, ranking from large public corporations to small start-ups.

In addition to her client work, Amy is active in both pro bono and women’s networking, and is a founder and governing board member of Women in Digital Media.
