Amy Ferrer is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Boston office. Amy is experienced in a wide range of corporate and securities transactions including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, joint ventures and other general compliance and corporate governance matters.

Amy has significant experience handling numerous transactions, including public offerings of equity and debt, private and public company mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, finance transactions, internal corporate restructurings, commercial transactions and general corporate matters. In addition, Amy regularly counsels clients on securities law compliance and corporate governance matters including stock exchange rules, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and related regulations, and other state corporate and securities laws issues. Amy also acts as outside securities counsel to numerous public companies in connection with the preparation of periodic and current reports and proxy statements; disclosure issues; and drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts.

While attending Fordham University School of Law, Amy was an active member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. She also was a legal extern for the Honorable David J. Trager in Brooklyn, New York.
