Amy advises and represents clients from various industries. She has significant experience in general litigation with an emphasis on counseling pharmaceutical companies and financial industry clients in product liability and commercial litigation matters. Amy also has experience in counseling firm clients on e-discovery best practices. Amy has been instrumental in assisting firm clients with the implementation of defensible electronic discovery protocols and document production strategies in complex litigation matters. Amy has defended companies in complex pharmaceutical, commercial, product liability, multi-district and mass tort litigation. She has experience in handling a wide array of product liability cases involving automotives, home appliances, construction equipment and consumer products.
Amy has substantial experience in conducting depositions of plaintiffs and experts and defending depositions of key company witnesses in complex commercial, pharmaceutical and product liability litigation. She has significant trial experience and has defended firm clients in numerous arbitrations and mediations. Amy also regularly serves as an arbitrator in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.
Additionally, Amy maintains an active pro bono practice. She has conducted trials in Pennsylvania and New Jersey on behalf of pro bono clients seeking restraining orders in domestic violence matters, and has successfully prosecuted claims against animal abusers. Amy is currently a member of Reed Smith’s Veterans Benefits Project which provides representation to veterans in benefit appeals before the Department of Veterans Affairs involving post-traumatic stress disorder claims. In addition, Amy serves on the Board of Directors of The Senior Law Center, a nonprofit organization which improves the lives of older Pennsylvanians and protects their rights through legal representation, education and advocacy.
In 2008, Amy was named a "Top Young Lawyer" by Philadelphia Magazine.
