Amy W. Schrader

Amy Schrader is a Florida administrative lawyer, board certified in State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice, focusing her practice in the areas of:

Ms. Schrader has focused her practice on assisting companies and individuals in their dealings and engagements with Florida administrative agencies, and has past experience working internally for both the Florida Department of Management Services and Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Her clients have included communications companies, pharmaceutical companies, health care facilities and providers, commercial lessors, technology companies and professional licensees. Many of her cases involve challenges to the validity of agency rules or proposed rules, bid protests, professional licensing and assistance with commercial contract review and negotiation.

Ms. Schrader has experience in application of Chapter 287, Florida Statutes, which governs State of Florida procurements. She has strong connections within many state agencies, and can assist clients with all types of licensing and permitting issues, from initial licensing or permitting to professional license defense. Ms. Schrader assists regulated organizations and industries with statutory and rule compliance, and has extensive knowledge of Florida's state-run insurance plan, Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, having formerly served as in-house counsel.

Ms. Schrader is an adjunct law professor for Florida Administrative Law at the Florida State University College of Law.
