Andy Grubert
is a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of King & Spalding, and is resident in the Austin and London offices. He is a United States patent attorney, a European patent and trademark attorney, and a German patent attorney.
Mr. Grubert’s practice focuses on patent application preparation and prosecution—particularly in the U.S. and Europe—patent licensing negotiations, and patent portfolio management. Previously, he served as manager of one of the U.S. intellectual property departments of Siemens Corporation and in Germany as manager of the Siemens AG patent department responsible for automotive technology.
Mr. Grubert has broad experience with such technologies as microcontrollers, analog and digital circuitry, semiconductor technology, automotive technology, medical devices, telecommunications, software, and solar energy.
