Aneal R. Ganta is an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He is a member of the firm's Litigation Department, the Environmental Litigation and Mass Tort Practice Group, and the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Mr. Ganta has experience in representing clients in a wide range of litigation matters in both federal and state courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ganta served as a judicial law clerk to Senior District Court Judge Raymond L. Finch., of the District Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Croix Division. He earned his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2007, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. As a student, Mr. Ganta worked in a wide variety of legal arenas, including the Attorney General's Office of Connecticut in the Consumer Protection Division, an Oakland based media/entertainment law firm and recording company Hieroglyphics Imperium, LLC, and as a legal research assistant to Professor Edmund E. Ursin, studying Lochner v. New York, 198 U.S. 45 (1905) jurisprudence and the "Constitution in Exile" movement. Mr. Ganta received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and International Studies, with honors, from Northwestern University in 2004.
Mr. Ganta is barred in the State of California, the District of Columbia , and the United States Virgin Islands. And he is admitted to practice before numerous Federal Courts, including the Central District of California, the Washington D.C. Court of Appeals, and the District Courts of the United States Virgin Islands, Divisions of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
