Anne H. Peck is a partner in the Cooley Litigation department and resident in the Palo Alto office. She has been with the Firm since 1989 and served until 2010 as the chair of the Trademark, Copyright, & Advertising practice group.
Ms. Peck advises and assists clients daily on selection and protection of worldwide brands and domain names, copyright and advertising issues and other promotional activities. Her practice features a wide variety of business and technology innovators, including such industry leaders as Facebook, Google, TiVo, Flextronics and USB-IF. Ms. Peck is expert in establishing for her clients copyright ownership and strong international trademark portfolios that secure brand loyalty and competitive advantage.
Since 2009, Ms. Peck has been recognized by Chambers USA for her exceptional work in the trademark and copyright areas.
Prior to joining Cooley, Ms. Peck was an associate with Brown & Bain in Palo Alto engaged in intellectual property and commercial litigation.
She received a law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in 1986 and a Bachelor degree in International Politics from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in 1980.
She is a member of the American Bar Association and its section of patent trademark and copyright law, the State Bar of California, and the Santa Clara County Bar Association. She is also an active member of the International Trademark Association.
