Anne Cox

is partner in the Atlanta office of King & Spalding and a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. She is also a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee, the Hiring Committee and the Lawyer Development Committee.

Ms. Cox is a transactional attorney and corporate advisor whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions. Her experience involves a full range of M&A transactions, including public and private company mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, tender offers, recapitalizations, joint ventures, strategic investments, and going private transactions, and special committee representations, and representing private equity funds in control and non-control investment transactions and investment exit transactions.

Ms. Cox’s practice covers a number of industries, including pharmaceutical, restaurants, technology services, telecommunications, consumer products, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate and retail.

Ms. Cox is a 1995 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. She graduated with a B.A. from the University of Tennessee in 1991. She is a member of the State Bar of New York, the New York Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia. She is a member of the advisory committee of Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta and a former board director of Everybody Wins!. She was named one of Georgia’s Most Powerful and Influential Women in 2014 by the Georgia Diversity Counsel.
