Anne specializes in information governance, data privacy/security and e-discovery. She advises clients on issues related to litigation and technology and her experience spans diverse industry sectors, including manufacturing, banking, retail, technology services, education, construction, global food services and energy. Anne also routinely counsels international clients in records compliance, cross-border issues and global policy implementation.

Anne has particular experience assisting clients with data risk management and regulatory compliance. Her expertise includes information governance assessments, gap analysis programs and audit procedures which help clients target and improve non-defensible information policies and procedures. Anne is routinely engaged to review and evaluate organizational information practices related to records retention, data storage, cloud computing and privacy with the goal of improving internal practices and reducing risk. Anne, along with her colleagues in the Data Privacy and Security team, focuses on proactive measures to prevent the occurrence of security breaches, regulatory noncompliance, and indefensible information practices. She also assists clients with discovery in the event of litigation, investigations and transactional due diligence. Anne holds the CIPP/US credential as a Certified Information Privacy Professional from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Anne has a background in consulting and technology and began her career as an IBM systems engineer. This experience provides Anne with unique skills to counsel clients in the quickly evolving areas of data security, privacy and litigation technologies. Anne is first and foremost a lawyer with high-volume arbitration and first-chair trial experience.
