Anthony J. Cortez

focuses his practice on regulatory compliance, commercial litigation and government contracts. Anthony advises clients in consumer products industries through complex and high-stakes litigation in matters involving consumer protection, environmental and food law, false advertising laws, and California’s "Proposition 65." Anthony also regularly advises major national consumer product companies on matters involving deceptive or unfair business practices. He represents clients in private plaintiff, class, and state regulatory actions, and actions brought by the state attorney general or local district attorneys.

On the government contract side, he represents developers, contractors and subcontractors in both state and federal court and before various public agencies. Anthony is experienced representing both contractors and vendors in public contract disputes, bid protests and, when necessary, litigation.
