Ariana N. Sarabia

Ariana N. Sarabia recently joined McKenna Long & Aldridge in the Government Contracts department focusing her practice on compliance and ethics.

Ms. Sarabia is joining McKenna from global construction firm Gilbane Federal (formerly ITSI), where she served as Chief Counsel Corporate Ethics & Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary. Her work primarily focused on counseling Gilbane’s leadership and board on compliance and ethics matters across various business units. Gilbane’s worldwide construction projects span both private and public sector work, including U.S. military bases and sensitive installations in remote locations, as well as large energy projects.

Previously, Ms. Sarabia was Western Regional Counsel for another major construction contractor, MACTEC, and Environmental Counsel for a pulp and paper company, Potlatch Corporation. In private and in-house practice, Ms. Sarabia also handled domestic and international environmental matters, including, permitting, environmental due diligence, toxic tort and asbestos litigation. She received a Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and worked as an engineer in the aerospace industry prior to practicing law.
