Asma Chandani leads the firm’s legal, compliance and regulatory activities and oversees new product development. Ms. Chandani also participates in capital raising initiatives and manager selection.

Ms. Chandani previously spent a decade in private practice with leading international law firms, where she advised clients on private fund formation, corporate transactions and global regulatory and tax compliances. Her international transactional experience includes structuring global investment fund platforms and facilitating portfolio investments into private and public companies in emerging markets across Asia and India. Her clients have included several alternative investment firms, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and family offices across the globe.

Ms. Chandani was most recently recognized as a 2015 'Deal Maker of the Year' by Finance Monthly, and as a 2015 'Rising Star' by Super Lawyers. Ms. Chandani holds leadership positions on the India and Asia Committees of the American Bar Association. She is also a prominent blogger for DaWall Street and an active executive committee member of Billion Dollar Babies, a think tank of venture capitalists working to reform business regulation in India. In addition, Ms. Chandani is Chairman of Global Reach Out Initiative, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization imparting vocational skills and entrepreneurship training to the disabled worldwide.
