Madeleine has been practicing in the Southern California Family Law Courts for 32 years. She has handled hundreds of hearings and hundreds of cases involving family law issues.

More importantly, she is a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, who places family in first place, is passionate about her family and understands why you are also.

Madeleine was also divorced from her first husband, but considers him to be family, best friend, loves him like a brother, and is very grateful for his excellent parenting of their now adult son, his continual kindness, friendship and goodness towards her. Divorce does not have to be a death of friendship.

She believes that if you can settle amicably, it often saves you both emotionally and financially, BUT you should not just “give in” in such a way that you give up substantial assets, financial protections, your children’s well-being, or your safety, but you also don’t destroy your financial future with extraordinary and wasteful legal fees and costs. Not all cases are appropriate for settling, as there can be some very damaging results by giving in on something that is very important to you and your children.

MADELEINE has been appointed by Court Judicial Officers to represent clients in child support cases in the child support collection courts.

MADELEINE has testified before a legislative sub-committee, spoken before the State Bar Convention and the Los Angeles County Bar Association regarding Domestic Violence and other restraining order issues. She has even been asked to speak before an out-of-state bar association.

MADELEINE has served as Secretary on the Children’s Issues Committee of the California State Bar.

MADELEINE BRYANT-KAMBE has worked closely and conducted training with law enforcement, domestic violence advocacy groups, government and court entities regarding domestic violence and civil harassment laws.
