Ms. Patterson’s practice focuses on environmental and regulatory compliance law.
She understands the value of effective communication and building lasting relationships to achieve expedient and optimal client results. She frequently exercises these principles for matters involving
Environmental regulatory compliance; Weights and measures compliance, State and federal pesticide regulation, Agency enforcement defense, Cost recovery litigation, Remediation closure and strategy, Contract negotiation, CEQA and NEPA review.
Ms. Patterson also participates in the development of various regulatory and legislative packages to ensure clients’ policy interests are best represented and protected. Her clients are largely within the food and beverage, agriculture, and real estate industries. She is also certified by the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and is familiar with legal issues facing the brewery and wine industries.
Prior to joining King Williams LLP, Ms. Patterson successfully negotiated and defended several water rights and water quality matters for private and public entities at the administrative and judicial levels, as well as facilitated water transfers. She also advocated for policy interests in front of several state agencies.
