Austin V. Campriello

Austin Campriello has been a prosecutor and is a criminal defense attorney. Mr. Campriello, a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, has tried cases and argued appeals in federal and New York state courts where the charges have included racketeering, securities fraud, mail and wire fraud, tax evasion, perjury, extortion, bribery, larceny, counterfeiting and murder. He has conducted investigations into many areas of fraud and municipal corruption, and has successfully represented clients in various investigations including inquiries into allegations of criminal antitrust, health care fraud, minority business fraud, election fraud, environmental crimes, and conflict of interest charges.

Mr. Campriello has written on many aspects of criminal litigation and was an adjunct professor of law at Fordham Law School. He is a past chair of the Criminal Court Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and is and a past president of the New York Criminal Bar Association.

In addition to defending business executives, attorneys, public officials and figures in the art world, Mr. Campriello has represented financial institutions, accounting firms, real estate developers, construction companies, media companies, hotels, airlines, hospitals and other health care providers, and entertainment companies.
