Mr. Ortwein is a litigation attorney with more than 10 years of experience and more than 25 trials in state and federal courts. As a former assistant U.S. attorney for both the Eastern District of Michigan and the District of Columbia, Mr. Ortwein has led hundreds of grand jury investigations, argued appeals, conducted numerous evidentiary hearings, and prosecuted a variety of criminal cases, including homicides, large-scale international narcotics trafficking, financial crimes, and racketeering.
