Batya Goodman is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Business Practices Practice.

Batya Goodman focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate transactional work, private equity transactions and financing transactions. Batya is experienced in drafting, negotiating and analyzing transaction documents, conducting due diligence investigations and researching and drafting legal and client memoranda. She also assists clients in the preparation of SEC filings, including proxy statements, registration statements and periodic reports. Batya served as Associate General Counsel of a global, multibillion-dollar NYSE listed public company where she was one of only two attorneys servicing the entire company, comprised of up to eight diverse business units and in excess of three hundred subsidiaries.
