Ben Vinson is a member of the Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs practice at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (MLA). He focuses primarily on state and local issues, with a concentration in campaign and election law, economic development, and legislative action.
Prior to joining MLA, Mr. Vinson served as Counsel to the Majority Caucus in the Georgia House of Representatives. In that capacity, he assisted the Speaker and other members of House Leadership by researching proposed law, drafting legislation and providing advice on various political issues.
Following law school, Mr. Vinson clerked for Judge W. Brevard Hand of the United States District Court, Southern District of Alabama. During law school, Mr. Vinson was an Articles Editor and a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review. He also participated in externships with several Superior Court judges of the Western Judicial Circuit.
Mr. Vinson currently serves as campaign counsel to Nathan Deal For Governor and as counsel to the Governor Nathan Deal inaugural committee.
