Bradley F. Rothenberg is an AV-Rated attorney practicing in the Community Associations Practice Group at Sachs Sax Caplan P.L. Mr. Rothenberg previously was a Senior Attorney with Becker & Poliakoff, where he also focused his practice on representation of condominiums, homeowners’ associations, and cooperatives.
Mr. Rothenberg has shared his knowledge of Community Association law with his neighbors by serving as both Vice-President and member of the Board of Directors of Boca Del Mar Improvement Association, Inc. Boca Del Mar is one of the largest master associations in the State of Florida, covering four (4) square miles, consisting of ninety (90) sub-associations, approximately ten thousand (10,000) homes, with a population of almost twenty-five thousand (25,000) residents. Mr. Rothenberg also served as President, Vice-President, and member of the Board of Directors of Del Mar Village, Section 1, Homeowners’ Association, Inc.
Mr. Rothenberg managed a successful solo practice, wherein he served as General Counsel to a local full service real estate brokerage with fifteen (15) south Florida locations. The company conducted more than fifty thousand (50,000) real estate transactions in a period of six (6) years. In that capacity, he handled general corporate, residential and commercial real estate, and property management transactions and issues. Mr. Rothenberg has handled all aspects of landlord, tenant, and eviction matters. He also performed services in connection with collection and litigation relating to company accounts.
Mr. Rothenberg worked for Akerman, LLP and Greenspoon Marder law in their alcoholic beverage law practice group. There he assisted with licensing projects for national clients in the movie theater and cruise line industries. His work consisted primarily of land use and zoning, with an emphasis on an analysis of local and state governmental regulation of alcoholic beverages for on premise consumption.
He has an extensive background as a corporate and securities practitioner. He simultaneously served as counsel to two dozen public issuers. He authored their periodic and special reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and managed their compliance issues, including Sarbanes-Oxley and Blue Sky compliance. He also submitted requests for initial quotation to the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and requests for inclusion in Standard & Poor’s standard reports.
He is a licensed member of Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund, and writes title insurance on residential and commercial purchases, sales, and refinances, and is also a licensed Florida real estate sales associate.
