Bradley W. Harrison

Brad Harrison represents clients in complex civil litigation matters in courts and before arbitration panels throughout the United States. He frequently defends companies in class actions and multidistrict litigation. He is no stranger to the courtroom, having been a member of several successful trial teams throughout the country.

Brad devotes a large part of his practice to the defense of companies in product liability actions. He frequently defends pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. He has successfully defended cases involving prescription pharmaceuticals, stress urinary incontinence products, silicone gel breast implants, ultrasound-assisted and conventional liposuction equipment, and intraocular lenses. In addition to his pharmaceutical and medical device work, Brad serves as counsel for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in smoking and health litigation in Florida and throughout the country.

Brad also spends a considerable portion of his practice on commercial disputes, including complex business tort and contract litigation. These matters have included disputes regarding noncompetition agreements and business supply agreements as well as the representation of corporate policyholders in litigation against their insurers. Brad also has been lead counsel for the defendant in a number of cases brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Brad is deeply committed to the Firm's pro bono activities, including both criminal and civil matters. He is active in Jones Day's Housing Court program, through which he has obtained successful results for tenants in disputes with their landlords. Brad is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
