Dr. Brandon L. Seal is an associate in the Intellectual Property Litigation practice group and a member of the Firm's Litigation department. He joined the Firm in 2013 and is resident in the San Diego office.

Prior to law school, Dr. Seal was an assistant professor of biomedical engineering at Purdue University where he designed peptide-based pharmaceutical compounds, self-assembling biomimetic materials, and targeted polymeric drug delivery systems. He has authored several peer-reviewed scientific articles and has presented his work at many national scientific meetings.

Dr. Seal graduated first in his class and summa cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. During law school, he received the ABA-BNA Award for Patent Law and the Foundation Press Award for Constitutional Law. He also served as Managing Editor of Publication for BYU Law Review.

Dr. Seal earned his doctorate in Bioengineering from Arizona State University as a Whitaker Foundation Fellow. He also graduated summa cum laude with a BSE in Bioengineering from Arizona State University.
