Brett has experience defending clients in the context of consumer class actions and complex contested mortgage foreclosures relating to the Home Affordable Modification Program and the Mortgage Servicing Rule. Brett has also defended clients in cases involving the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and the Fair Housing Act (FHA), among other state and federal consumer protection statutes and regulations.
