Brian concentrates his practice on corporate, securities, private equity and other transactional matters. He represents both private and public domestic and international companies in a wide range of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, complex commercial contracts and supply chain management. He is also frequently asked to advise clients regarding reporting obligations under securities laws and general corporate matters. His experience spans a range of industries, including life sciences, consumer products, business and consumer services, manufacturing and energy.

Brian devotes a portion of his practice to working with fellow McGuireWoods attorneys in the private equity and energy and climate change industry groups to provide investors and companies with an integrated, inter-disciplinary, full service, legal “partnership” in connection with various matters, deals, investments, financings and projects focused on clean power, greentech, energy efficiency and sustainable infrastructure investment, operation, development and growth.

While earning his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law, Brian was a member of the Justinian Honor Society. As an undergraduate at Colgate University, he was named to the Dean's List for eight consecutive semesters.
