Throughout his twenty-year legal career, Brian Koide has been lead or co-lead counsel in numerous high-tech, high-stakes patent infringement disputes. As a registered patent attorney with an engineering degree, Brian combines his litigation, technical, and substantive patent law experience to effectively represent his clients in all phases of patent litigation, including district court actions, appeals, post-grant proceedings under the America Invents Act, and Section 337 investigations before the United States International Trade Commission.

Representing both patent holders and accused infringers in more than 50 district court patent infringement cases, Brian has litigated a wide range of technologies, including network equipment, encryption, smart phones, mobile apps, WiFi, graphic user interfaces, consumer electronics, commercial vehicles, digital cameras, digital printers, scanners, electronic payment systems, online auctions, digital image processing, and speech compression. His diverse client base has run the gamut from Fortune 100 companies to small startup entities.

Brian is actively involved in the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity (LCLD) since serving as a 2013 LCLD Fellow.
