Brian N. Wanek is of counsel and a real estate lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Mr. Wanek maintains a broadly diversified commercial real estate practice, including the representation of purchasers, sellers, developers, investors, lenders, borrowers, landlords, and tenants across a wide range of matters, transaction structures, and project types. Areas of special concentration include commercial construction lending transactions, commercial leasing transactions, multistate acquisitions, dispositions, and developments, workouts and restructurings, and transactions in the health care and energy industries. Mr. Wanek is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice.

Mr. Wanek has focused experience in managing the real estate aspects of transactions and projects in the energy industry, particularly wind and other renewable energy projects, as well conventional and cogeneration energy facilities, including property interests and development rights acquisition and documentation, entitlements assessment, and project financing.
