Brit Nelson assists clients throughout the United States and in foreign countries with intellectual property matters across a variety of industries for patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing, domain names, advertising, misrepresentations and unfair trade practices under state and federal laws, and technology law. He is experienced in obtaining and licensing patents, trademarks, copyrights, domain names, and other intellectual property, and enforcing or defending such intellectual property. He also has experience assisting clients that have received demand letters regarding the patent licensing program of non-practicing entities (“NPEs”) sometimes referred to as “patent trolls.”
Additionally, Brit assists in corporate mergers and acquisitions in due diligence and negotiations. He relies on over two decades of legal experience and a prior decade of engineering experience in the aerospace and metal forging industries.
