Bryan A. Carey is a founding partner of Conn Maciel Carey and managing partner of the firm. He focuses his practice on business law and litigation.

Mr. Carey is an experienced lawyer who has worked on cases on behalf of major corporations, small and mid-sized businesses, and individuals. He has represented clients in state and federal courts as well as in private arbitration proceedings.

Mr. Carey has represented investment funds and other major financial institutions in a variety of matters ranging from contract disputes and civil fraud actions to government investigations by federal and state authorities. In addition, he has represented nonprofit groups and individuals to aid them with their legal needs.

Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Carey spent a year as a clerk to the Honorable John A. Terry at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

Mr. Carey also serves as a director and corporate president to Disaster Accountability Project, a Maryland nonprofit organization that performs as a watchdog for misuse of disaster relief funds and as a clearinghouse for best practices for emergency preparedness and disaster relief efforts.

Mr. Carey lives with his wife in Washington, DC.
