Bryan is a member of the firm’s private wealth services group and advises clients in the areas of nonprofit & charitable advisory services, fiduciary advisory services, and estate planning.
Bryan also represents clients on matters involving bankruptcy, out-of-court workouts, and financial restructuring. In addition to representing corporate debtors and creditors in bankruptcy courts throughout the United States, Bryan also has served as national bankruptcy counsel for leading financial institution regarding mortgage, servicing and loss mitigation matters.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods Bryan was a law clerk for the Honorable William F. Stone, Jr. of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia and an extern clerk for the Honorable Douglas O. Tice, Jr., chief judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. While earning his law degree at the University of Richmond School of Law, Bryan earned the American Bankruptcy Institute's Medal of Excellence and was interscholastic chairman of the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board
