Bryan C. Brantley

Bryan’s practice focuses mainly on product and consumer litigation, and his diverse experience includes drafting responsive pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs and discovery, and taking and defending depositions in a variety of cases. He has prepared and argued motions for summary judgment, as well as handled arbitrations. In addition to his consumer product work, he has experience in complex commercial litigation, transportation litigation and toxic tort and environmental litigation.

Bryan has represented clients in product liability claims across the country in a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on transportation, construction equipment manufacturing and pharmaceuticals. He currently heads up a team that manages national discovery for one of the country’s leading transportation and shipping companies.

Bryan has also worked on numerous issues involving federal preemption of state law claims related to the labeling of prescription drugs and has actively participated and assisted in the handling of a variety of pharmaceutical litigation. He has served on the national coordinating counsel team responsible for directing multidistrict litigation for a major pharmaceutical company.

He also provides general legal counsel to a large food service company that is a major franchisee of a popular restaurant chain.

Bryan was recently elected as a fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, an organization dedicated to identifying strong, diverse talent in the legal profession and providing them with leadership opportunities. He is also a recipient of the Distinguished Student Award, Katie Elizabeth Westbrook Award and CALI Excellence Award for the Future in Trial Advocacy. While earning his law degree, he was honored as a member of the Order of the Barristers.
