Assisting private equity firms with equity and debt financing transactions and portfolio company investments and dispositions
Counseling businesses and their owners on general corporate and commercial matters, including commercial contracts, distribution arrangements, supply arrangements, executive compensation, business and executive succession planning, licensing issues, non-competition protections, personnel matters, expansion efforts and strategic initiatives
Serving as general outside counsel for privately-held entrepreneurial companies and U.S. subsidiaries of foreign multinational companies
Mr. Schultz has represented buyers, sellers, investors, target companies and intermediaries in over 100 business combination transactions aggregating over $12.5 billion in total consideration. These transactions have included companies located in the United States, China, India, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, Mexico, Canada and other countries.
