Camilo Cardozo focuses his practice on international arbitration and litigation and is co-chair of the International Arbitration Group.

Camilo has handled international arbitration matters under the various international arbitration rules, including the AAA/ICDR, ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC and in a variety of forums, including the US, the UK, and various countries in Latin America.

An experienced commercial litigator, Camilo also represents clients before US state and federal courts in litigation related to arbitration issues, including the enforcement of awards, applications to obtain evidence in aid of arbitration, and seeking preliminary relief.

Camilo plays an important role in DLA Piper's Latin America practice and in expanding DLA Piper's practice in both that region and in Spain. As an experienced New York litigator who also holds a law degree from a civil law jurisdiction in South America, he provides added value to the services that DLA Piper offers clients with disputes concerning civil law or Latin America.
