Cara Edwards' practice primarily involves the defense of pharmaceutical and other healthcare companies in a variety of cases, with an emphasis on complex, multi-jurisdictional product liability suits.

Her experience includes defending consumer-related claims in numerous jurisdictions, the development of expert witness reports and testimony, and consulting on strategic planning issues faced by her clients. Cara also regularly counsels clients on a wide range of risk management, regulatory, product labeling, recall and public disclosure issues. She currently provides counsel and risk management advice regarding a popular medication and cardiovascular events.

Cara is a member of the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Committee and is the New York delegate to the firm's Leadership Alliance for Women ("LAW"). She also is involved in the firm's summer program and recruiting efforts. Cara has contributed to papers delivered at DRI seminars and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association seminar on Federal Practice.
